Yadavas of Devagiri
Yadava dynasty, also known as Seuna dynasty, was founded by Seunachandra in AD 850, the son of Dridhaprahara.
At the zenith the kingdom stretched from the River Thungabhadra to the River Narmada, which included modern Maharashtra, the north of Karnataka and parts of Madhya Pradesh, the capital being Devagiri (now Daulatabad).
The Yadavas were feudatories of Rashtrakudas and later Western Satrapas and when their power waned, declared independence in 1185 AD.
The kingdom had weakened with the advent of Allaudin Khilji in 1294 and was annexed in 1317 AD.
