Banas
anas claim decent from Mahabali and the dynasty takes its name from Bana, the son of Mahabali. They were feudatories to Satavahanas, Pallavas, Cholas, Pandyas and Chalukyas. Their kingdom had various regions at different times spanning from 4th to 15th century.
